Clinical/Medical Massage

Clinical massage is sometimes referred to as orthopedic massage and it is the application of various soft tissue and manual therapy techniques designed to evaluate and treat soft tissue injuries.  This may include massage therapy, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, deep tissue, and other modalities.

Clinical tissue therapy can be effective in treating conditions such as low back pain, whiplash, myofascial pain, sprains, strains, sciatica, post injury or surgical rehabiliation, tendonitis and other tendon injuries, painful trigger points, repetitive strain injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, headaches and edema and other ailments.

The main goal of clinical massage is to decrease pain, improve range of motion and restore normal function to the soft tissues of the body.
